Microsoft Word was first released in 1983 under the name Multi-Word only for Xenix systems, later it was formatted for other systems. This particular software was designed to be controlled with a mouse. Which gave the user the ability to undo something, bold the text, italicize the text, and underline the text. Over the years there has been a lot of drastic changes to the software which has made more user friendly and convenient. In 2003 Microsoft Office XML format was introduced to the public, giving you cross-version compatibility of opening old files from older versions of Word.
Technology in the 21st century has come so far making Microsoft Word a valuable tool for the individual, professional, and student. I will be evaluating some functions of Microsoft Word to help enhance what you may or may not know about the software. At the end of this you should feel completely comfortable with Microsoft and its many functions.

Microsoft Word Training Assignment
There are many things that this software can be used for such as emails, letters, memos, papers, flyers, business cards, power point presentations, etc. With this software you can save your work and come back to it at a later time. There are templates that you can use if you are unsure how to format a particular document. If you are creating a document and need pictures for illustrations, there is always clipart, where you insert all kinds of pictures into your document. Although Microsoft Word has many pros to it there are also a few cons one being its cost which is about $199. The steady advancement of the software, while this seems be a good thing it may not be for those who can’t afford it. Another might be too many options to choose from for some people leaving them unsure of what choice they should select. And lastly saving a lot of large files can take up a lot of space in your computer’s memory. This computer in service training along with the video I included well bring you abreast to the changes and give better knowledge of this software.
