Summary
In this chapter is about distance education which is a teacher giving a student instruction at a different time and the student receiving the directions given. The use of technology is very important in this aspect without it online classes would not exist. Distance education makes the class very convenient for students and teachers. Teachers are able to send instructions to their students from any place at any time and students are able to receive to instructions given on their time or as instructed by the teacher. With distance education there are something’s that can be pose problems such as copyrighting, cheating with other students, time management, technical support issues, etc.

Distance education has made big changes in the way education is being given today. I personally think that it is a wonderful thing to be able to have class form home. It frees up time for teachers, saving gas for students and teachers, cutting down on face-to-face interactions.
