Reflection
I think this was very informative to those who are to become future educators. Technology is a very big part of education in the 21st century, the focus has been to implement technology into teaching. The federal government has mandated for teachers to have a certain amount of technical literacy. In some situations there are teachers who received their certifications before these things were made mandatory, which meant they still were responsible for obtaining the technology training. In most cases the resources for this training is provided to them, leaving the responsibility up to them to take at their leisure or by deadline. Every state has certifications and licensure that one must have in order to be considered an educator.
An instructor must first know how to implement technology when educating before they can teach another. This is how high school or junior high students learn to do PowerPoint presentations, use Microsoft, excel, and other applications, the instructor walked them through the process step by step. I have also was understood that technology is a very important part of learning and without it we would be so far behind in life.
